Online classes

Since the virus outbreak forced the Educational Institutes to adopt online classes, we have started taking online classes for X & XII from 2nd June' 2021. And gradually we implemented online learning to all the classes right from LKG. As a result, there is a significant improvement in participation and interaction between students and teachers.

Our school assembly is now substituted with online assembly conducted on every Monday in which our students execute their versatile talents based on the theme: "Discover a New You... Be a Leader..."
JRC
Junior Red Cross at our Montfort:
In our school, about 50 students are registered as the members of Junior Red Cross. Students are well trained to perform during the celebrations and the occasions to help needy and to give awareness of various distortions.
Our Involvement:
Students are encouraged to participate in rally, quiz and competitions on such topics and activities of protecting environment, collecting fund for the Health Organizations and to take part in the programs for giving awareness of diseases. JRC assembly is conducted with the pledge, prayer song and flag ceremony on every Thursday.
Main Principle:
The main principle of our Junior Red Cross is to readily accept any task or role in accordance with code of ethics or fundamentals of voluntary service.
Scout - "Be prepared"
Some of our Students are well-trained to be the Scouts and Guides who are given responsible and awareness on disaster management and first aid at times.
Scouts assembly comprising of prayer, flag songs, pledge, and flag ceremony are regularly conducted every Thursday. The main theme of Guides is ‘Learning by Doing’. Students are provided with different activities to make them physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually strong and valuable citizens for the nation. Our school consists of 35 guides who participate actively and serve effectively in all our school functions, fulfilling the aim of the Guides namely to do qualitative, quantitative and visible way of work.
Olympiads
We give opportunity to our students from classes III – XII to participate in the Science, Maths, English , GK, Talent Hunt and Hindi Inter-National Olympiads, itself is the biggest competition where a student competes to outshine others. It infuses a healthy competitive spirit through reward based assessment.
Abacus
Our students of classes IV – VIII are taking part in Abacus classes as it helps to improve their imagination skill, eases the arithmetic calculations in mind and improves their concentration level. They are taking part in the National Level Competitions held at Chennai, every year.
Communicative English
Our children are imposed to learn spoken English to grow uniqueness at their career. They gain experience of modern usage of language in day-to-day environment. They learn the methodology of listening, reading, writing and speaking the language with the help of well experienced professionals. Seminars & Language Workshops are conducted periodically for the Students in order to develop their language further.
Competitions
The children at Montfort were given opportunities to compete in different areas such as Drawing, Essay Writing, Dance, Rangoli, Chess, etc., to bring out their creative thoughts & expressions. It is a challenging opportunity for our Children to stimulate the minds of the spectators and the judges.
